How to Download Instagram Videos
Three steps, about ten seconds.
Copy the Link
In the app, tap the three dots above the post and choose Copy link. On a Reel, tap the share arrow and then Copy link. On a computer, open the post and copy the URL from the address bar.
Paste the Link
Paste the link into the box above by long-pressing or pressing Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on Mac), then hit Download. The tool reads the Instagram link and pulls the original media file.

Android. Chrome, Samsung Internet and Firefox all save straight to your Downloads folder, and the video usually appears in Gallery within a few seconds. Some Android builds ask permission the first time a site writes to storage.
Windows, Mac and Linux. Paste and click. The MP4 goes wherever your browser saves files. This is the fastest route if you plan to edit the clip afterwards.

What It Will Not Do

The same goes for content that has been deleted, archived or restricted in your region. If the link 404s in a normal browser tab, it will fail here too.
One more thing worth saying plainly: the videos on Instagram belong to whoever made them. Downloading for offline viewing, personal reference or backing up your own work is fine. Reposting someone else's video as if it were yours is not, and in most places it is a copyright problem, not just a rude one. Credit the creator, or ask.
